I booked a flight tkt on **.**.**** through Easemytrip.com paying Rs.*,***/-for journey from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi on **.**.**** by Air India AI-*** (ETD Vizag **.** Hrs ETA New Delhi **.** Hrs). But I got a call from Air India in the evening on previous day i.e. on **.**.**** advising cancellation of flight.
*. I notified Easemetrip.com through email fact of cancellation of aforesaid flight after waiting for ** days for refund to which they replied on **.**.**** (Ticket ID: ******* ) that they are yet to update from Air India and latest reply on **.**.**** that "We want to inform you that we are still waiting for the confirmation from the airlines regarding refund. Request you to allow us sometime".
*.Despite passage of more than *** days from the date of cancellation of flight, refund of Rs.*,***/-has not been effected by Easemytrip.com.
*.Towards hardship I should be compensated Rs.**,***/- and original refund of Rs.*,***/- Total Rs.**,***/- .
*. A lesson needs to be given to Easemytrip.com for their callous approach in handling their customers grievances.
