- No refund after returning item Open
I bought a "Sweater" from https://www.shoppersstop.com on ** Nov. **** worth ₹*** and it was delivered to me on ** Nov. **** in Churu, Rajasthan.
Owing to size issues, (as what I ordered was last size in the stock) I initiated a return on ** Nov. ****. It was picked up the next day and successfully reached the warehouse on **Nov. ****. However, since then I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND YET and It's been a month.
I made several calls, emails and multiple complaints were also registered but to no avail.
On one call, their customer service women told me that they have received a 'fake product' and because of it my refund is delayed.
I was furious to hear that and later wrote an e-mail to their "GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL TEAM" on ** Dec. **** with an image of the product as a proof of what I received and returned. In * weeks, I talked to two men under this team : SALMAN and ROHIT.
To my utmost surprise, even they gave me fake assurance and asked to wait *-*days for the issue to be resolved (just like in all the other calls). They both assured me that my issue will be RESOLVED ON PRIORITY BASIS.
I NEVER GOT AN UPDATE FROM THEM, EVER. Instead, I had to make calls everytime for an update.
All this dishonesty has been causing me immense mental and emotional stress along with physical inconvenience.
In my last talk with Shoppers Stop on **Dec. ****, (the call was transferred to their SUPERVISOR) I explained him politely that I was under no liability for a mistake done from their pickup courier partner's end in misplacing the product. It is clearly between Shoppers Stop and their Courier Partner and I'm being denied justice and dragged for no reason.
I asked him to initiate my refund and resolve my issue as it's almost a month now and I'M NOT EVEN LIABLE FOR ANYTHING. I NEITHER HAVE THE PRODUCT NOR THE MONEY.
Instead, what I had was my mental peace and now even that's gone while experiencing the unethical and apathetic behavior from SHOPPERS STOP.
He agreed to what I said and (just like others) asked for *-*days and (just like others) didn't do anything.
Finally, I decided to move my concern to Voxya (after hearing their successful victories) realizing that people at Shoppers Stop are just making a fool of me and want me to give the hell up. Fraud and con via these E-commerce websites happens with every other person, every other day. AND COME HELL OR HIGH WATER, I'M NOT GIVING UP UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK FROM SHOPPERS STOP.
