Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing this with great sorrow that the booking made through Agoda site has caused us tremendous harassment for our planned tour. Though I have made the complete payment, it is very unfortunate that the Hotel has rejected our stay stating that there is no booking shown to them against the booking confirmation id -*********. They have rejected the booking and upon our insistence for a proof they have mentioned in writing on the booking slip about rejection (Refer attachment). Though we have tried a lot to get connected to you (Agoda), but nos. were not responding. Also tried getting help from OYO, but of no use rather wastage of time while standing at the hotel reception. Lastly tried help at Agoda chat, where lately get connected live but there also we didn’t get any assistance rather wastage of time as the chat has been ended by Agoda's side without any solution (refer chat attached). Also find the chat reference of OYO attached where booking was shown as Cancelled though Agoda site is showing booking confirmation.
After struggling & wasting of more than an hour at hotel’s reception, we have left for a vagabond’s search for any other accommodation elsewhere. As the hotels were almost full at all surrounding hotels, we have no other option other than to get in to a mere basic Non AC unhygienic hotel with a condition of booking for a minimum * days at their wish price of Rs.**,***/- (Bill attached) which was a wastage of our money being trapped in the unwanted situation.
This was an horrible experience for opting Agoda as a booking site which I won’t forget while doing any next booking. The most worst part is that Agoda people are not available over phone and chat service is further wastage of time. Hope you can imagine the situation while getting boarding (though already exhausted in journey) on a pre-booked hotel with complete payment done, where this experience has been faced and no single help received through you. I would definitely share this experience to the social media for other’s alert.
I would call upon to Agoda for refunding the amount of booking of Rs.**,***/- plus the other hotel charges of Rs.**,***/- as incurred (Total = Rs***** + Rs.***** = Rs.**,***/-) by us for a worst experience ever.
