Connection No/Account No: ********** I have taken the Hathway internet connection on the **.**.**** and I was promised a quick installation which took about * weeks in the first place and I had made the payment for * months (advance) later when I got the connection the internet speed was about ** MBPS maximum that I have ever seen on this network and now it does not even cross about * Mbps on a daily basis. I've filed the complaint with the call centre the proof of which I have attached below. Also tried contacting the person who gave me the connection in the first place and he also makes false promises of sending a technician home. They have also promised a high-speed wifi router which they did not provide instead gave a modem which was very outdated and was not capable of providing hd low-quality box. I am attaching below the results of the speed test done recently on the **.**.**** at about * pm and also attaching the complaint registration messages below and the invoice with the payment and account details. I've constantly demanded a refund from them as they fail to fulfil the promise of speed and customer service. They are not even able to provide about ** Mbps speed while I paid for ** Mbps. I hope I can receive some help from this forum. I have called the customer care number about ** times and also tweeted on Twitter about the same but they have kept me on long holds for ** mins each time even when I was caught up with high viral fever, they have caused me mental harassment of extreme levels. They have not been able to help me and make excuses that they have some technical issue. I had deposited their modem and adapter they had provided me to their nearest office and now they make an excuse that you have opted for termination and we will only give a refund of the modem amount and not the package amount. There is plenty of college assignment work for my younger brother and myself which we were not able to complete due to the slow internet connectivity and false promises by Hathway.
