I am disappointed and feeling cheated with the recent experience at Samsung's service center.
Unfortunately, my Note * handset was showing a green display initially and then was started flickering after the installation of the latest update from Samsung which was notified the Samsung Service center and was told the service would be done free of cost.
Because my handset was in excellent condition and even the plastics since the time of the purchase was still there, I was given an assurance of a free of cost service after complete verification was done by the service center.
Even though I had signed a Rupees zero invoice for the service as my consent, I was told to pay Rs.*****/- during the time of delivery after five days of the submission which shocked me entirely. While asking the reason I was told there was no green screen for which I would have to pay even though the green screen was mentioned in my job sheet after the verification done by their service engineer.
If any service charge would have been mentioned from day one rather than receiving the device by saying free of cost service for the green screen issue, then I would never have given my device for the service. But they completely changed their statement and my issue even though everything was mentioned in their job Sheet after the verification by their Engineer. One cannot fool a customer to take the device by mentioning free of cost service and later put a cost on the same during the time of delivery by giving a controversial reason which does not match the reason mentioned in the job sheet.
This incident raised a doubt in me if something wrong would have happened to my device by the Service Centre and initiated a complaint to the customer service team.
After raising the concern they apologized and told me to wait for some time as they want to get the approval from the higher authorities which would take time to get my service done for free of cost without allowing me to see my device.
It's almost ** days since I am waiting for the approval which is pending to get my service done for free of cost.
My first question is, why am I being humiliated for no reason even though the problem caused to the device is completely your fault.
Secondly, being a customer if I was told this service would be free of cost after all long verification from your side and took the permission by making me sign a zero rupees invoice, then why there would be a delay in getting the approval for the service.
Being a customer, I am least bother about your internal process whether it's failed or passed or delayed, as I was informed this repair would be free of cost after all the verification was done at the Service Centre and met all the required criteria for the same.
If anything, wrong happened to my device then I will not accept and would claim for the same as it was in excellent condition.
I tried to communicate with the Samsung escalation team by giving several voice calls and emails but only got an apology mail for the inconvenience and further time to wait. Even though I have tried to communicate them through several online complaint sites (Resolver.in and consumer complaints.in), have not received any solution yet except an apology for their fault.
My time and money are equally important and request Samsung not to cheat me for their fault.
I request Samsung not to humiliate and Harass me any further by forcing me to pay the price for waiting so many days( more than ** days) for no reason and get the service done for free of cost as committed by their service center.
