My active *G active bike has been theft on **/**/**** on **.** am to *.** am from place ten minutes from my home that is near shah arcade rani Sati marg near scissor saloon and Bharat co-operative bank of which I am a customer too. I was in the saloon. The motorbike parked the bike with complete senses that area was the main road and the is under the surveillance of Dindoshi police and also in the camera of the saloon I was in. but that day the CCTV of the saloon was not working. I was not aware of CCTV of saloon not working the day I bike got stolen.
My motorbike policy no ************************ issued on **/**/**** by liberty general insurance. I immediately filed a police complaint on *th September **** with sr. no *** on *th Feb ****. I was in hope that as it was lost near my residence locality. I and was under the impression that the bike must have been towed by traffic police. So was searching the motor Bike in nearby locality and nearby traffic chowky i.e. Malad subway and Aarey traffic chowky. And civil Dindoshi police station with the hope of finding the motorbike active *G for ** days.
I intimated claim to liberty general insurance via email on **th September **** by email. Meanwhile, I was trying the IVR no of insurance company Toll-free ****-***-**** no of times. But the call was not getting connected. How **.**.**** call got connected claim no ********************** was registered.
After that company has not considered of email registered claim sating that claim can be registered only on an I.V.R phone call and my email claim dated **.**.**** was not considered. And rejection letter **.**.****. Sight delay ** days in filing a claim despite email was sent on **th September **** that is ten days and F.I.R was registered on *th September ****. I was also under impression that to file a claim F.I.R is mandatory. So I was waiting for F.I.R copy and meanwhile I was searching bike for ** days. It took time to file the claim and I.V.R phone of the company was not getting connected.
The third-party surveyor Dheeraj insurance claim investigation with contact details ********** / ********** to sent to my place **/**/****. The personally visit the residence and the place where the motorbike was lost. And inspected the took some photo and took my statement that the key was bike left in the motorbike which was misquoted my statement that key was left in bike. He took mentioned below document.
*) Original motorbike original FIR,
*) Claim form
*) * no of duplicate keys
*) Original RC and smart card
*) Original dealer payment receipt
*) Original FIR
*) Photo Adhaar card pan card driving license xerox
*) RTO from **, **, **
*) Written statement of me and insure
**) Motorbike service bill.
(All of the above document has not been resent by an insurance company and has not received by me.)
Later on, one more key and my revised statement was submitted by at insurance company Marol branch and Earlier * key has been submitted to the general insurance company and later on submitted * had more key I am submitting herewith revised statement.
I requested the company to open the claim with the revised statement that the third key was not there in a motorbike and the key has been found and submitting the key with the revised statement copy along with this letter.
I was in follow up with Mr Ajay Gupta concerned person of insurance company in the period of **th September **** insurance and Dec **** no of time on the phone. He said some communication Letter was sent on the **/**/**** and **/**/**** about rejection that there was a **-day delay in filing claim inspire of FIR was registered and the claim was informed on email which was noted or replied. And negligence that key has left the bike. When the motorbike was consciously parked which is ** min away from residence and also in CCTV of Dindoshi police station.
I have given many requests to open a claim with the revised statement. Want to open the claim with the revised statement that the key was not there in the motorbike and the key has been found and submitting the revised statement letter.
The concerned person Mr Ajay Gupta of insurance company returns the communicated about P.O.D with registered post RM*********IN dated **/**/**** too late upon insisting. The post was not delivered to. The complaint was filed with the post office. The post office shown is post-delivery sheet. Upon checking post was delivered a note of post office the signature was of another upon not matching my signature.
Now the in metropolitan court Borivali and police inspector Vijay Jadhav Dindoshi police has submitted N.T.R on **.**.**** report on basis of NTR I requested to reopen claim no ********************** for policy no ************************ on phone and email and I.V.R of the company and release the insurance amount and give me a new bike. But the company has not given any response. And saying that claim once rejected stand rejected.
After submitting the NTR report of Dindoshi current employee of company Mr Ajay Shrivastava Mob no ********** has not responded and said your claim still stand rejected and saying that claim once rejected stand rejected.
I have contacted IRDA IVR toll free no and I was guided to contact Mr. Puneet grievance officer Mr. Puneet a *********** and email gro@libertyvediocon.com. Insurance company Gaurav.Kelkar@libertyinsurance.in But could not get any response
