- MMT cancelled my International Hotel Booking without any Info. Open
I booked my hotel in Kuala Lumpur through MMT on **th March. I booked it for * nights (i.e from **th may to **th may). As MMT is not available in Malaysia, they passed on my booking to Booking.com internally but with my incorrect contact information. On **th may, at around **:** PM, I reached hotel after paying around Rs **** to the taxi from airport and hotel staff told me that Booking.com had cancelled your booking. Fully frustated, I called Oyo Customer care(As that hotel was Oyo property, and their customer care number was mentioned on the mail printout, which hotel staff had provided me). Representative told me that your hotel had been cancelled due to non contactability. However they were unaware that MMT had provided them my wrong contact information, which I came to know next morning when I spoke to senior manager of Oyo. I was roaming around in the late night hours in Kuala Lumpur. However this company had taken all the credit card details in advance from us, that in case we made any cancellation mistakes they can charge us full amount. I already received a mail on **th may that said your free cancellation time has over and if we cancel it now, they will charge us full amount.
On sending several emails, they are ready to pay me a meager amount of Euro **.Now I am going to take this case to consumer forum, as got certain contact numbers of people who had already filled complaints against MMT and won.
