- Manufacturing Fault Not Providing Replacement Open
I was using my (Mi) Redmi Note * one day while the phone was on update it got swtich off and now dead. the phone is not starting now only red light blinking . I took it to service center they said we are doing the update here and not able to do. so we need to replace the motherboard and the cost will be Rs.**** (approx). for the second opinion i went to another service man near to my home and told him the same problem he said that the motherboard can not be damaged on the running fault it is company's fault and problem with each and every phone of Mi you can have the examples of same on Google and Youtube the problem can be repaired at Rs. **** cost. then i again gone to the other customer service center they said that we are not able to update motherboard to be replaced and cost will be approx Rs. ****/-. i told him to repair he said company has not given any tools to repair, if nothing found we just remove the main part thats it. i said give me in writing whatever you have said. he has changed the problem stating the liquid damage to the mobile. (i have recording with me stating no liquid complain) and changed the quote to Rs. ****/-.
On complaining to the company on twitter they said we will offer you the discount of **% on REPAIRING.
i asked the quote for repairing they said it will be Rs. ****/- (**%).
further on next day unaware of my complain to Mi on twitter the service center man offered me discount of **% on replacement.
My complain is
*. It is manufacturing default arisen on account of update of MI (with all the users google it)
*. Why company is insisting of replacing part and not repairing the part when road side servicemen can repair why not manufacturer.
*. who is responsible for all the data saved on the phone costing more than money lost on account of Mi Manufacturing fault.
*. who will bear the loss of business/work till the time phone remained off due to no action taken on complaint.
*. other prayers due to mental and physical harassment on account of phone dead.
