- Lock not repair in warranty period Open
I have purchased a refrigerator from LG India at Jaipur, Rajasthan-****** on **.**.**** paying *,**,***/- from great eastern, Jaipur, Rajasthan. During day one of installation their service team asking for AMC but I refused and asked them we have one year warranty so what is need of AMC.
From day one, the service team are unable to install properly till smart refrigerator system control by mobile not installed. We were facing problem in there door lock and informed the service person verbally but at last I put a written complaint to LG service, complaint no RNP************ and the same service person visit my house and his first word was "it is very common and you have to suffer from this refrigerator till you do not give AMC. He took some photograph and do not inform us what is the next course of action. After seven days when I call him about status, he informs me your lock is broken due to miss use of your two years kid so you have to change the door after paying *****/-. I asked him that this lock is not broken or physically damaged outside and it was problematic from day one then how you can say that.
After that, I contact with the shop keeper and he takes someone in conference call claiming Rajasthan service head and that person again take the same service engineer on call and the answer was the same. After that, I came to know that this service centre belongs to LG India third-party operation and their main earnings are from AMC. After that I raised the complaint to national consumer forum, complaint no ******* after ten days they replied our service person will contact you which is a prototype answer given to my mail just to killing the time so that they can escape from the warranty period.
I have purchased this refrigerator in our marriage anniversary to surprise my wife. Now I lost my trust with this company now I want to get back my money for which I am paying EMI every month to the bank or I want replacement or repair of my lock with proper compensation.
