We have been using the network connection of Apna Cable since ages but recently the service team has been changed. The service is extremely irresponsible and only demands more money every time we raise a complaint. Initial when the new cable regulations were applied, we have spoken to the team and given them the list of channels we needed. This costed Rs *** monthly including GST. a few months later they have automatically without our permission discontinued the Star network and Colors network channels while we were still paying for them. Every time we contacted them to ask them to start the colors and star network, they disconnected the call and didn't respond to messages. Finally after a number of times they gave us the colors channel a few months back but the whole network is still not given and neither is any of the star network channels.
We've been paying the same amount since past few months. but recently they have called us up and asked us to pay rs ** more. When I asked for clarity on what is this ** rs for we have been told that the charges are increased when non of our neighbors are paying anything more. I asked them to send a list of channels and the exact calculations and the support lady said she doesn't have all that information and disconnected our service. I've called her for * days continuously and she kept disconnecting my call. The *rd day I get a call from the owner, literally screaming at me in an extremely disrespectful tone, that we are supposed to pay the new cost if we want the connection to be given, no one has time to give us the list of channels and details, if we want more channels we should buy the whole monthly package of rs *** we will get all the channels and he also said ' ye kya aap message and call karahe hai idar udhr paisa bharo and connection chalu hoga' and hung up the call without even letting me talk.
I don't understand what kind of service is this? If the change in regulation was so that the users pay for the number of channels they see, what is this disgusting demand of taking all the channels or managing with the ones that are given and a higher cost that required?
Also, why am I being denied transparency in the service that I am being paying for? Why can't I have the list of channels we should get at the cost I am paying?
I have absolutely no problem in paying if I really have to pay more for the channels that we want. But just blindly asking for more money without any information or details is wrong! Mind you they donot share a bill or receipt as well! So I am not even sure where my money goes.
