- Laptop parts not available 6 months after purchase Open
I bought a Lenovo Legion Laptop Y*** on Nov ****.
Feb ****, laptop charger started giving problems.
March ****, laptop was not charging and it became dead.
March **** provided the laptop for repair to authorized service center in
Shop No. ** Ground floor Kalyani Towers, *nd Ave, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu ******, India
Received feedback that power jack is damaged. Need to be replaced. I asked them to replace, but they told mother board has to be replaced as it is a full set. No free repair promised even though I had warranty.
July **** After lockdown tried other shops to check if they can fix the board, but they couldn't.
Sep **** Gave laptop back to the authorized center to replace the mother board at my own cost. But got feedback that no part available after repeated feedbacks. It has to be junked.
Now I need to be paid damages in the form of voucher for the Laptop I bought so that I can buy a new one. If not provided I will file complaint to get damages for the laptop I used for just * months.
