Jeez Tours And Travels
- Kerela Trip issue with Travel triangle and Jeez tour and travels Open
My husband and I were on our holiday trip to Kerala from **th December **** to **th December ****. We booked it through Travel Triangle (Booking ID *******). Through Travel Triangle, Jeez Tours and Travels contacted us and explained the trip plan and the itenary. We went ahead and booked our travel with Jeez Tours and Travels and paid through Travel Triangle.
Please find the itenary attached. The Total Land Package cost for us provided was *****+***(convenience fee for * adults) = *****/-. Travel Triangle bifurcated the total amount and first installment of *****/- was paid on *th December ****. Second installment of *****/- was supposed to be paid upon our arrival.
The problem started on **th December (before our travel started) when the agency sent the hotel vouchers for Munnar where we were supposed to stay for * nights (**th and **th Dec- Spice Jungle Resort). The resort was not the same that was mentioned in the itenary. And when checked upon Goibibo (a Trusted Hotel booking Site), there was a huge price difference. I will be attaching the screenshots of the rates difference in the complaint. We had a huge blow out with the agency and Travel Triangle on why the said resort was not provided and why there was a huge difference in the hotel rates.
Anup, who was the coordinator from Jeez Tours and Travels & Rashmi, who was our Trip Advisor from Travel Triangle both, forced us to accept the new hotel named Wyte Mist for our stay in Munnar for * nights. The psychopathic behavior of Anup didn’t stop there. He started torturing us by not replying to our messages or calls where we wanted to know the entire plan for our trip. Its then we decided we do not want to go ahead with Jeez Tours and Travels and informed the same to Travel Triangle. As our air tickets were booked and were very costly we were bound to travel but were not ready to travel through Jeez Travels. But Travel Triangle denied our request of Agency Change and we forcibly had to travel to Kerala with the same agency.
Our plan was to travel to Coimbatore from Hyderabad on **th evening (*:** pm) and stay back for the night in the Chenthur Park Hotel from where we had to get picked up on **th December morning for Munnar. We started from Coimbatore at around ** am on **th in Toyota Etios and after stopping at couple of sightseeing, we reached Wyte Mist Resort in Munnar by * pm. Upon checking-in, we observed the condition of the room. There was no window in the washroom from where anyone could have come inside and there were no curtains on the Main Door from where the bed was visible. This was a huge security breach for us in a new state where we didn’t know anyone. There were many other smaller issues but those could be ignored. We approached the Hotel Staffs but they told no other rooms were available now, so we approached Anup and after * hrs of hustle and bustle we were told to drop off the keys and come out of that hotel as another hotel arrangement was made by his side. The new hotel, named Mystique resort was are new stay which was the *rd change for our Munnar stay. The new hotel was pathetic and it was literally an OYO Room (you can search on Google map, it still shows Oyo). The room was quite small and Non-AC as well, food was pathetic with just * dining tables placed in a small hall and food served in hotpots like home stays which we didn’t prefer when we made the plan.
Also please be informed that Rashmi who was our Trip Advisor from Travel Triangle kept her phone switched off from **th evening(when our travel started) and was not even reachable on Whatsapp. We paid convenience fee of *** where we told that there would be **** Support provided to us. Please be informed that we specifically asked her will she be available or no during our travel (when I was still in our tour planning phase) for which she told yes mam of course, I will be available. There was no back up for her during our stay.
Anyhow, we stayed in Munnar in the same Mystique Resort for * days (as we didn’t have any other choice) and went ahead with our upcoming places, thinking that we will ask Travel Triangle or Anup to adjust the cost in Munnar stay(as the hotel we paid for was way more costlier than what we got) in second installment.
On **th December when we were on our way to Allepey, Anup texted me asking to pay ***** without fail. I called up Travel Triangle then and there itself to know how come he reached to a figure of ***** and how much do we need to pay for our pending amount of ***** as in Munnar we were promised a costly resort but we were provided with a pathetic and cheap. The Travel Triangle Executive Yashana , told me that she will arrange a call from her senior but we never received any call from Travel Triangle. It was then Anup started to threaten us that if we don’t pay the entire amount and provide good reviews, we will be stopped from checking out of the hotel. We were completely scared of the way he was talking to us. We only wanted the difference amount to be adjusted in the package as we just were left with *nd installment and had we got the same stay as per our itenary we would not have stopped the *nd payment. He used ill language with me and my husband both and we were scared to death that someone would come inside our room to murder us. We made the entire payment of *****/- (on **th Dec Night) which was second installment and provided him good feedback on Whatsapp after getting threat calls from Anup. We somehow stayed back in our room only that entire night without any food and plan to check out @*:**-* am the next morning (**th December) and go to Coimbatore as we had flight to catch at *:** pm to Hyderabad from Coimbatore. The next day morning around * am we reached the hotel reception only to find out that our check out was stopped by Anup. He used threatening language yet again when we called him as now he wanted good reviews on travel Triangle Website from our side so that Travel Triangle would disburse the money we paid. After hustling and bustling for couple of hours he asked the receptionist to let us check out. We dint even have breakfast and dint visit the next Stop which was Marari beach in our Itenary and directly started for Coimbatore without any stop in mid.
This was clearly a case of CHEATING, KIDNAPPING and MENTAL HARASSMENT where the customers were not provided what was mentioned and HELD AGAINST THEIR WILL at an UNKNOWN PLACE even after the full payment was done, just for the sake of good reviews. As customers we only knew Travel Triangle and not Jeez Tours. We dint know that there are no background checks of what agencies you are making available to your customers. As Travel Triangle’s trip Advisor Rashmi was not available during our entire tour, we were grounded in the hotel room on our holiday. Customer Care services also were not available on **th Dec after *pm and **th Dec being Sunday, the entire day Travel Triangle was unavailable. We luckily got a number of a Travel Triangle Agent named Bhavya (who was our Advisor when we travelled to Singapore through Travel Triangle) to whom we discussed our condition and he gave us contact of Mr. Karan Rathore, Travel Triangle agent. Travel Triangle dint take any responsibility of safeguarding their costumers and dropping us safely to the airport at least, when we were in need and scared to death. We had to follow each and every order given by Anup in order to return safely to our home, which should not be the case.
We want Travel triangle and Jeez Tours and Travels to refund the entire amount of *****/- immediately and compensate for the Kidnapping and Mental Harassment done by Anup and Travel Triangle. We are attaching all the phone recordings and screenshots with this for your reference.
