I took Insurance from Shriram finance (via Coverfox) and my vehicle met accident, I thought vehicle will be reinstated/repaired as it was in good condition although I kept IDV value miniumum (******) in order to keep less premium. When I requested claim company told that cost of repair is high so they will consider it as total loss, I was not ready but company did not give any other choice. Now I agreed for total loss claim settlement, generally total loss claims are settled with paying IDV value Plus additional charges(To-chain, yard charges and deduction for salvage vehicle handover) but company again introduced a twist and told me that they will not pay cash instead they will replace my vehicle with same make and model(so in this case Ford Figo **** with additional cap of price equal to IDV). I was not ready for it but company forced me on terms, I reluctantly agreed but now company did not show any vehicle after even issuing me the letter, so as I understood company is trying to be correct on paper but do not want to do anything on ground. When I am reaching out then they say if you need vehicle then you yourself found the vehicle and propose it to company, I tried finding vehicles but in such a narrow criteria as provided above it is impossible to get the vehicle and company chose not to respond properly. So far company has taken * months of time due to which I am getting troubled mentally physically for following reasons-
*. I need to give * hour daily to call/follow insurance company which is causing pain and wasting my productive time
*. I had to take loan to purchase a new vehicle as company did not settle claim on time, instead company deserve punishment for their poor response so far
*. I had to go for finding replacement of vehicle for last * month for which I am travelling ** to ** KM daily and it is costing me additional financially, physically and mentally
*. Company has given me lot of trouble by their poor responses, they have mastered the art of making consumer fool, I discussed the issue with their Statehead even but he seems to be making fool only and helping other staff to harrass common people
*. Additional charges of tough-vchain and yard charges (for keeping old vehicle also should be paid by company.
