Hi,
I had a booking on **th April **** from BLR to CCU. But due to lockdown my flight got canceled. I asked the Indigo customer support for my refund but they told me that they will not provide me the money to my bank account instead of that they will keep the money to their wallet (Credit Shell) and I have to use that money within * year for the same passenger otherwise they will charge ****(where my ticket’s price is Rs.****/-) for taking my money to my account. I asked them a few questions like,
*. I gave the money to give me a service but if you are unable to provide me the service then what is the reason to keep my money?
*. What are the extra services(like-providing interest, buy some food or groceries) you will provide me for keeping my money to you?
*. Why are you binding me in that rules ("I have to use that money within * year for the same passenger") when the money is mine?
*. Why should I pay the charges when I didn’t cancel my ticket? Give me the service or give me my money back.
After asking this one support person(Jasvinder Bakshi OCC) just left that chat and then another person(Manav Sharma-*****) can't give me any specific answer for that.
