- Incorrect Information Provided by Customer Care Air India Open
Hi Air India Team,
This is to inform you that my family and I have been through an extreme level of harassment on my trip from Durgapur to New Delhi on *th Nov ****.
I was given incorrect information by the call centre agent regarding the flight cancelation (AI-***). The call centre agent said that the flight is not cancelled when we called him to confirm on *th November.
There were no alternate arrangements made from Kolkata even after telling them my parents are BP/Diabetes patients. I lost my one day pay from the office and important meetings which were planned.
Finally, I had to rebook flights from Go - Air which was ** hours + waiting time.
On seeking help from Air India Customer care number (**** *** ****). No call centre agent helped us getting a flight from Kolkata to Delhi and did not even tried to understand our problems.
We have call recordings of all the conversations. There were several times the call centre agents hung up on me. We spoke to almost ** different customer care agents and they all were HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. There was a guy called Arman he promised a call-back but never did. I was kept on hold for more than ** minutes and when I asked for a senior, they said we don’t have any. IS THIS A JOKE?
• Travel from Durgapur to Kolkata by the same cab which took * hours and **** + toll tax extra (***/-)
• Booked flight tickets from Go-Air which was **,***/-.
• Loss of pay = ****/-
By the time I reached to the Kolkata Airport we were left with No cash and no money in the bank and the Airport authority Mr. Rajneesh denied helping us and did nothing as a gesture to help me or my parents.
I am filing an official complaint against Air India for the torture and mental harassment my family and I have been through. I am seeking compensation against all my losses.
