- Hotel booking denied by hotel owner Open

Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is to report an incident that occurred with us during our visit to Lonavala on **th December ****.
All the details of the booking are attached below. We booked the hotel at OYO home ***** elegant luxurious stay on **rd December **** using the Agoda website. We made a payment of ****/- using our credit card with a number ending in *** ****, We tried contacting the hotel but we were unable to find a contact number for the hotel on Google, We thought now that we have made the payment, we need not worry about the confirmation. We tried calling the Agoda customer service and we were told by the IVR machine, after punching in our credentials, that the confirmation is done, confirmed on Booking ID - *********. We went to the hotel the next day that is on **th December **** exactly at check-in time ** noon. The hotel representative straight away said No, they didn't have any booking confirmation via Agoda. They said they didn't take any bookings from Agoda. It was almost a seventh incident with similar instances. They said they have already complained to Agoda about the same. We feel cheated because of this as we were tired of the travel and needed to rest. But the booking was not being approved by the hotel representative. Unfortunately, we had to leave the hotel premises as there was my fiance with me. We needed immediate rest. We had to book another hotel and had to stay there. I kindly request you to look into this matter and get me my refund. This is already a very depressing behavior by the hotel. I hope you don't want to make it further unprofessional by not initiating my refund. We need our money back for the service we were not allowed to avail. We also got * emails of cancellation of booking ID - *********, *********, *********, But we did not receive any booking cancellation email for Booking ID- ********* because it was showing confirmed on the website, as well we have confirmed from customer care but we did not stay in a hotel due to this reason that it was not showing in hotel owner's system. This is a humble request. Please look into this booking and also remove the hotel as they said that they have not added their hotel on your website & they do not have any tie-up with Agoda. This is very deceiving and wrong information provided by them.
