Hi,
I am Bhavna Sharma and I have booked Bangalore (India) to Alicante (Spain), via Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways flight via Goibibo.com on *rd March ****. Booking ID: AMDJSVAZW, PNR: WRHVOG. Ticket cost me INR **,***. I have booked the flight for passenger Joaquin Cesar Plana Alcaraz (relation: spouse). Email used for ticket booking: bhavna.sharma****@gmail.com. Phone number used for ticket booking: **********.
But due to the Covid** the flight was cancelled on **th March **** by the Airline. I have called Goibibo and was CONFIRMED by the GOIBIBO’S CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE that the flight has been cancelled and I am ELIGIBLE FOR FULL REFUND as the AIRLINE HAS CANCELLED THE FLIGHT. Goibibo’s customer care executive told me that FULL REFUND will be send in my original mode of payment in ** WORKING DAYS. However, it’s been * MONTHS now and I have NOT RECEIVED the REFUND.
Since the Flight got Cancelled I have been told and received emails and messages from Goibibo for FULL REFUND but from LAST MONTH SUDDENLY THEY DENYING THE REFUND AND NOW TELLING THAT I WILL GET A WALLET MONEY DUE TO NEW RULES BY THE AIRLINE BUT DENYING TO SEND ANY CONFIRMATION EMAIL ON THAT. THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE OF GOIBIBO IS NOW TELLING ME THAT THE PREVIOUS EXECUTIVES HAS MADE AN ERROR AND THERE WAS NEVER A FULL REFUND OPTION. ON MY ASKING THAT HOW COME ALL OF YOUR EXECUTIVES FOR * MONTHS MADE SAME MISTAKES OF FULL REFUND THEY HAD NO ANSWER. This shows that GOIBIBO has decided to cheat its customer by not returning the money.
If any rule is changed by the airline it is not applicable for me coz my flight was cancelled and I have confirmed to be paid full refund before this rule came in practice, if it has come. For three months they told me and email me for FULL REFUND and now Suddenly they DENYING REFUND AND FORCING FOR WALLET. Because they informed me of refund on flight cancellation I had booked ticket in another flight and that too now canceled and I can’t afford or want to have cash wallets when I have paid direct money to them. We don’t know when the international flights will operate again, even if they will operate as we all know how dangerous it is to go anywhere in this Pandemic no one will fly to anywhere unless its super urgent.
I am attaching the confirmed flight ticket, flight is un-operational mail, confirmed full refund mail from GOIBIBO with this complaint.
I want my FULL REFUND WITH NO DEDUCTION WHATSOEVER AS CONFIRMED TO ME and the Charges I will now be paying to avail the paid services of VOXYA to file the case against GOIBIBO and any other future payment I may have to pay in case the GOIBIBO does not refund the money and proceed in consumer court.
