PNR : QSQG*DSequence of Events
* Flight was cancelled due to Corona Pandemic
* Refund requested on **-**-****, was promised no deduction by Goibibo
* Singapore Airlines processed full refund without any deduction on **-**-****
* After follow up, Goibibo processed refund of Rs **,***/- on **-**-**** with deduction of Rs **,***/- as Airlines charges and Rs ****/- as Goibibo Fee
* Rs **,***/- was credited to Gocash wallet instead of bank
* On filing complaint, Rs **,***/- was refunded on **-**-**** against Rs **,***/- deducted as Airlines Fee, indicated Rs ****/- as Goibibo deduction.
* On further complaint, Rs **,***/- was transferred to my bank on **-**-****
Issues
* Fraudulent act in making deduction of Rs **,***/- in the name of Airlines charges even though Airlines had made full refund
* Refund in Gocash instead of bank
* Abnormal delay in refund even after processing of refund by Airlines
* Although, there should not be any deduction by Goibibo in case of flight disruption when Airlines makes full refund and same was promised also but first Rs **** was deducted as Goibibo Fee, later on deduction was made as Rs ****/- and it is informed that Rs ***/- is Gateway charge and Rs ***/- was paid through Gocash. Clearly, there is changing amount and stand. Further, when Rs **,***/- were deducted as Airlines charges but only Rs **,***/- was refunded against that.
* The deduction is incorrect, against the practice and against promise of Goibibo. Even its sister organisation - Make My Trip - has made full refund without any deduction whatsoever in similar situation.
The above matter of fraudulent intent, payment of interest on illegal retention of refund by Airlines and inordinate delay in transfer of funds to my bank would be take up with competent authority and consumer forum if deduction done by Goibibo is not refunded immediately.
