I have received a call from Hathway offer from customer service that they are providing webcam for free ( it was never mentioned free to use ) against payment of * months rental. I have done the payment for the same and received an email for the terms of the offer where it was mentioned that it is free to use and not free. There was a condition to pay INR ****/- in case the device is not returned in working condition. I have asked the customer care about the life of the device as I can not pay if it will not work after ** years. They refused to provide anything on this.
I had raised a complaint on this incorrect information and told them that I am not interested in the offer and refund of * month's payment after adjusting the validity date to * month. My complaint (********w******) was closed without any intimation. When I called the customer care I have got the response that if the ticket is closed then it cannot be reopened. A new ticket was raised for the same(********w******). Please let me know so I need to create a new ticket every time they close it without my knowledge.
Since this was wrongly communicated from Hathway that the product is free in place of free to use. I request to kindly refund me the amount for * months so that I'll continue doing monthly recharge and surrender it once the validity period is over.
Please find the relevant advertisement from Hathway in the attached file. Nowhere it is mentioned the offer as free to use or conditions apply.
