Hello,
I booked a ticket on **th Jun **** for AirAsia Flight on **th July through Flipkart Travel. The total fare amount was Rs. *****. However, I got a mail from AirAsia that the flight was cancelled on *rd July. They asked me to contact Flipkart for full refund.
Now, when i contacted Flipkart they did not readily accept my request but after requesting and sharing full details they agreed to start the refund process. Finally, on **st July I received a refund of Rs. **** only.
When I contacted Flipkart to clarify this discrepancy, they asked me contact AirAsia to check the cancellation charges. After a long wait and further wasting my time AirAsia confirmed via call that they have refunded my full amount.
They provided the following details:
Total amount of the Ticket: Rs. *****
Amount refunded on *th July (Tracking ID *********): Rs. ****
Amount refunded on **th July (Tracking ID *********): Rs. ****
I shared the same information to Flipkart but again i faced lack of support and apathy from their side. Every time I call, a different person answers and asks me to wait for ** working days just to validate the details with airline. This made me feel that they are trying to hide something and doing it on purpose.
On **th August, I contacted AirAsia for written proof of the refund which they provided soon (I have attached the same mail). I produced the same evidence to Flipkart and as I guessed once again the reply was same that they are working on it.
After almost two months I am sure that I am not getting my money back and I recommend fellow travelers not to use Flipkart.
By showing their fake politeness they loot customers of their time and money.
This foul practice of Flipkart should be exposed and brought in front of the consumer forum - which I intend to do.
