Below is my Complain against Cleartrip.
I booked ticket for **th March using Amazon App. Due to corono virus outrbeak , I asked cleartrip to move my tickets to latter date. They said to do it directly with airlines as they dont have fare difference info. I contacted spicejet and moved my ticket to **th Sept after paying fare differnce.
In order to inform Amazon that i have moved my ticket, i cancelled my exsiting booking (**th March) on my app so that Amazon should know that i have moved my ticket to latter date and should not charge me any No SHOW. I did this as a repsonsible citizen , hours before departure.
Now, Spicejet has cancelled my revised ticket for **th Sept as they said they request came from cleartrip. I contacted (chased ) cleartrip last week to check this. They said since you cancelled your older ticket, new ticket got cancelled as they are linked with same PNR and refunded some amount. I spoke to cleartrip, but they said they cant do anything.
How can they cancel the ticket that doent exisit.
Why system doesnt have any mechanism to check which ticket to cancel.
Cleartrip cancelled my revised itinerary when i cancelled my existing ticket.
Please refer attached screen shot and see the dates of cancellation ( old tickets have been cancelled in APP) , why revised ticket is cancelled.
Reinstate my itinerary for **th Sept or issue me full refund. I have been chasing cleartrip for last one week.
