- False Information of waterproof on Samsung and looting customers at the time of Covid 19 Pandemic Open
I had bought a Samsung A*+ smartphone from amazon.in on **** with MRP of Rs.**,***/- The smartphone was bought considering the statement by Samsung that it was IP** Waterproof, i.e it can stay upto *.*m depth under water for ** min. * week before, after * year and * months, the phone was just spilled over by water and after sometime, the display of the smartphone got damaged. When I went to the Local Samsung service centre, near my home at Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala, India; they charged me Rs.****/- for the repair by giving false statements and I had to give the smartphone for diagnosing * times hearing the word of Customer service representative, which clearly states the inefficiency of Samsung Service Centre and Customer Service representative too. This is unbearable to me at this situation of Covid ** pandemic. I approached Samsung India for the same over email and also emailed CEO of Samsung India which was given in their website. This is a pathetic situation I am facing right now. I am not having a smartphone at this moment which is even utmost important for almost every family at this Covid ** Pandemic. Samsung, being such a prominent brand is doing in justice to its customers and mis leading the customers with false informations throughout their products and also trying to loot the customers at this Covid ** pandemic. Hereby then, I planned to go forward with the Consumer Forum in-order to get Justice.
