- Duplicate Ticket not refunded Open
I booked Etihad flight to London using Cleartrip on **th June at *:**AM after the payment deduction from my creditcard, i got message transaction failed on Cleartrip page. Money got deducted from my credit card of amount *****/-. As I didnt get any order /Trip ID, i created account with ClearTrip and checked the in orders/My trips, i didnt see order ID and aslo no email confirmation. I spoke to Credit Card Call center, they mentioned transaction might have failed and my amount will returned in * working days and i can go ahead with booking new ticket.
I booked ticket at **:**AM on **th June **** and same was confirmed by email at **:**AM. Later I got confirmation of *st ticket at **:**AM. Now I have two tickets for same person on same traveling days.
On *th July called clear trip customer care about the refund amount for first ticket and they admitted its duplicate ticket as *st ticket confirmation sent after *nd ticket booking and arrange call back in **hours with refund.
As I didn’t get all after ** hours when i tried to reach them, they mentioned its my mistake to book *nd ticket and they sent first ticket order ID and it got late in delivery. I have submitted proof of the emails reached me to "firstname.lastname@example.org" and they mentioned will arrange call back in ** hours. Which didn’t happened and after **hours i received email id to allow more ** hours. Meanwhile i spoke to Etihad Airlines, they mentioned they didn’t get any request from Cleartrip, if they get any request, they would add remarks against PNR/Ticket no.
As I didnt get any call from Cleartrip after **hours, when I called them, they say we are in process of checking with Airlines and will get back to me in **Hours. One of executive Alex helped and followed up and called back saying, amount will be credited by *th July Night and ticket is cancelled. Later received email saying it needs ** days more time for refund. Now its more than * months, when ever i call customer care, they keep on requesting to allow ** hrs and its pending with airways. They never call back and when i call them, they say in **hours they will get back to me.
I much worried about the process of cleartrip to cancel the duplicate ticket. Is there any escalation process to higher management for faster help and resolution ?
