I am writing this complaint after failing to get any resolution from the DRS group even after multiple followups with regards to the issues I raised with the company.
We were shifting to Bangalore for a new start just after our wedding and decided to take service offerings from DRS group to transfer Car and household items from Noida to Bangalore on *nd Nov **** and we were committed verbally and in writing that we would get delivery within *-** days. At the time of booking, I had ensured to insure my belongings for any damage during transit.
However my household items were delivered in time but there was significant damage done to my stuff details of which are as follows;
*. Microwave Oven: Front door glass was shattered.
*. Dewan Bed: Damaged from all sides
*. Refrigerator: However there was no recognisable physical damage to the refrigerator, but as soon as we plugged it in after couple of days to discover It was not in a working state.
While taking delivery, we were given assurance that damage will be compensated by the company but today after a month, we are still waiting and there is no response from DRS group. They have stopped responding to our emails and phone calls.
Now coming to *nd part of trouble, Car delivery. Same as household, We handed over our car on *nd of November and were expecting delivery by **th - **th November as it was communicated both verbally and in writing But to our surprise there was no sign of our car until end of the month when we received our car on **th November in pathetic condition.
During this time window of approximately a month there was no straight answer on our queries related to whereabouts of car and every time we spoke to someone from DRS group we were given a new story altogether.
At the time of our household delivery on **th Nov, we were told our car has reached Hyderabad and we can expect delivery in couple of days.
As there was no communication from the companies end, we called them on **th Nov and they assured its on way and we will receive on **st November. And to our surprise there still was no signs of car or any straight forward answer on its whereabouts.
After multiple calls with different people during this entire time, finally on **th November Mr Satish Tanwar @ ********** informed us that they had run into some issue with the vehicle my car was loaded into and should be reaching Bangalore in another *-* days. Mr Tanwar was introduced to me as head of the department that takes care of vehicle transfer and keeping in mind his position I took his words as word of authenticity only to discover everyone at DRS is there to feed their customers with false information wasting their time and resources.
And not to forget, during this entire time we had to commute locally for our office and buying stuff for our new home in Bangalore resulting in huge monetary loss and loss of time at the same time resulting in emotional and mental stress.
By this time, Mr Tanwar has stopped responding to our call and we were left with just one option and that was DRS call centre and people there were still clueless and had a new story every time. Finally on November **th, one guy updated me car has reached Bangalore and concerned team will contact me for delivery.
November **th the car was delivered and the condition of the car was really bad(Pictures attached). When asked, delivery executive said he is just a delivery guy and this is how DRS people have handed over car to him. I had to get my car deep-cleaned before I could start using it again which again wasted *-* days as it was raining continuously in Bangalore and car took that much time to dry from inside.
The entire episode with DRS group left us emotionally drained and mentally exhausted and today after one and half month of continuous following up with them I am disappointed to see there is no sense of acceptance and no respect for customers time and loss due to their irresponsible behaviour.
