- Did not get refund of failed transaction Closed
This is Astik Biswas, a loyal Flipkart customer over the last * years, and recently going through a very bad experience with Flipkart for the last * weeks. I am writing this mail to you with the hope that you can give me some resolution of my problem. I request you to go through the incidents for better understanding:
On **/**/****, I tried to book international flight tickets from Mumbai to Cape town using Flipkart app. The total payment was rs *****/- (however, after a **% instant discount the final payment was rs **,***). I tried to make the payment thrice (first two times did not receive otp for some network issues). However, the third time I received otp and I made the payment using Hdfc credit card. Unfortunately, transaction failed without generating any order id but my account has been debited by Rs **,***. I contacted Flipkart customer cared instantly, and they told for travel-related order the only MakeMyTrip can help. Mail is used for booking: firstname.lastname@example.org
I have been in touch with mmt for the next three days and they told the transaction status was in a pending state. They advised me that the amount will get refunded within ** working hours. There was no refund and on **th of Feb I again contacted mmt, and they told that payment has-been auto reversed to Flipkart, advised me to contact Flipkart and bank (find attachment: mmt_response). I contacted the bank and filled payment dispute form on **th Feb. In response, the Hdfc bank told me payment has been settled towards Flipkart on **/**/**** and advised me to contact Flipkart (response attached: Hdfc bank response). From **/**/****, I have been touch with Flipkart customer support, and every time their responses are action less assurances (fake promises). Spoken/mailed to different customer support people but nothing has moved forward. They have these standard responses of "** hours/**hours". the most annoying thing is every time we need to start from scratch and ridiculously incident id changes every time. Two weeks are over, but no refund or resolution till date **.**.**** (latest statement attached for your reference). I am going through mental harassment as rs **k is not a small amount of me that I can't ignore. I am feeling helpless in the middle of Flipkart and MakeMyTrip, but as I paid to Flipkart, I seek a resolution from Flipkart. So I humbly request you to follow up the same. I am out of the country now and it is very difficult to follow up with customer care over the phone. My father is also going through the mental harassment as for the same as he is following up the same over the phone.
