DHL Express (INDIA) Private Limited has sole tie-up with a number of manufacturers globally that makes them the only option to get products shipped from such vendors.
Since the beginning of the relationship with my company, DHL has been levying unnecessary charges and doing wrong documentation for my shipments costing me ****s for each shipment.
So far I have ignored them but now I wish to take action against them for the latest * shipments where they did incorrect documentation for me with the Customs department. Even after reporting the issue for the first shipment, they continued doing wrong documentation for another * shipments.
Each time, I am asking them to correct it they keep on saying to wait * more days for it since Feb **, ****. Meanwhile, they are levying charges for storage of the consignment for no fault of my own.
Lastly, they crossed all the lines and went to the vendor 'Texas Instruments' informing them that I willfully defaulting on DHL's dues while the matter is still under discussion on DHL's end, not mine.
These manufacturers take such defaults seriously and they can easily ban me from doing any future purchases with them. This is no way to levy charges and make false reports to the vendors when they have done incorrect documentation.
For the incorrect documentation, they initially said that I did not submit the documentation while I have submitted the documentation months in advance. When it was listed as pending for approval, I called up customer care and they said the documents are approved whenever the next shipment arrives as part of its clearance process.
Now when the shipment arrived, they did not even consider the documents and filed incorrect information with the customs department.
I would like to understand my options to get this resolved and recover my losses and components purchased from Texas Instruments.
