- Delay in activation of postpaid SIM Open
I applied for converting BSNL Prepaid SIM ********** into Postpaid one on **th March **** through BSNL exchange of Phase *, Mohali, Punjab. I submitted the application form along with all the required documents as proof and Rs. *** as security (Copy of Receipt attached). I was told that SIM will be activated within *-* days. Today is *st April **** and the SIM has still not been activated.
I work as a freelancer in the IT field. I had to visit Ladakh from **th March **** - **th March ****. In Ladakh other networks apart from BSNL do not work properly at all. BSNL has very good coverage over there and prepaid roaming does not work in J&K circle. So my plan was that my BSNL Postpaid connection will get activated before my visit and I will be able to be in touch with my clients. But it did not happen and my SIM did not get activated. I and my clients were not able to contact and as a result of a project worth Rs. * Lakh slipped out of my hands. Moreover, my family members and friends were not able to contact me and remained under tension about my well being during this period. I have suffered a financial loss of Rs. * Lakh. I and my family members have gone through mental agony due to the worst services of BSNL. I would like to lodge a complaint against BSNL and demand a compensation of Rs. * Lakh from the company (Rs. * Lakh for the fulfilment of financial loss and Rs. * Lakh for mental suffering). I request you to help me with getting my compensation.
