Providing un-satisfactory & in-adequate cable service and subjecting customers to mental trauma despite levying handsome charges.
We are customers of IN CABLE network cable services operated by IndusInd Media & Communications Ltd. I have two set-top up box connections one at home another at the shop. All of sudden they have disconnected our cable connections. On ** May ****, I have personally visited their office at Makarpura office *th-floor Atmiya Complex Maneja Crossing, Vadodara to find the reason why they have disconnected. On enquiry, they said some amount is outstanding against these connections. They have demanded Rs. **** for two connections up to ** May ****. I paid cash against this outstanding. They have assured that my connections will be restarted.
Up to **** hrs Noon they have released only one connection. The second connection was not released. We have telephoned several times they kept on replying that lineman will come and repair by **** hrs., But till the closure of their office time i.e **** no one came and no communication to this effect. All phones remain switched off mode
They have given the following numbers:

Second day morning i.e ** May **** at **:** am I tried on all the above numbers. But the situation is the same I could not contact anyone in the office. I tried to contact on the landline their Alkapuri office. Thanks after two continuous rings one gentleman came and answered that we are operating in Vadodara and we have no connection with Makarpura office. But he said I will try to contact Makarpur office and instruct them to start the connection. He had taken all the details.
After some time I Mr Jhala No ********** he responded and said Mr Priank will attend. Later Mr Priank came online he said here no supply once supply comes I re-start the connections.
During the total episode I summarize the following deficiencies in the system:
*) I have paid the full amount in advance why the connection was not released? Nobody is attending our complaint?
*) On the card, they have given Complaint registration number, Toll-free No Cable operator Number. These numbers are not functioning. Deliberately these numbers are kept switched off mode even during officer hrs as claimed in card i.e **** hrs to **** hrs.
*) TV and Cable network system has become one of the essences of daily life system. Customers are spending a lot of money for availing the services of this entertainment. This system is playing an important role especially houses wives to spend their leisure time. Such important services cannot be discontinued and operated carelessly and without responsibility since they are charging exorbitant charges towards this entertainment.
*) Since they are operating the TV Cable operating system affecting **% of the population of local area/city they have to set up Control Room operating ** hours in shift system. They cannot work and limit themselves for * hrs.
*) All phones should be attended promptly and answered politely with respect. All complaints should be attended and bring solution within *-* hours of complaint. Please check the service provided by MGVCL Customer Services. Very good Customer service excellent even midnight complaint are attended and supply restored.
*) Due to this deficiency of services cable operators cannot put customers in mental trauma and subject to unnecessary hardships despite paying handsome charges. They cannot deprive customer’s service in a compromise for their own comfort and convenience.
*. They are paid services and they have to be handled with the highest responsibility and careful manner.
In view of above problems I am facing with this cable operator, I request you to look in the matter in details and improve the existing system of working and make the services provided by them are price worthy. If my complaint is not attended and satisfactory response is not received I shall be constrained to approach appropriate legal forum like consumer redressal forum to redress my grievances.
