- Deficiency in service by SpiceJet Open
I had booked a flight with SpiceJet on **/**/**** PNR no ODRV*N on flight no SG-**** Delhi to Dehradun to depart from Delhi at **.** hrs. I check in well in advance and deposited my check-in baggage at their counter then went to the lounge to have some refreshments and a cup of coffee. It is a silent airport no announcements are made but the surprising thing was that they did not call on my registered mobile no. as I was travelling as a Spicemax passenger and am a long time member of spice club when I reached the boarding gate I was told that my baggage was offloaded and gates were closed two minutes prior and now they cannot help in any way. I had to spend the night in a hotel in Delhi and book another ticket for the morning of **/**/**** and could reach Dehradun late as I live here. I request the court to look into the matter and if there is any deficiency in service by SpiceJet the year should be prosecuted and suitable compensation made to me.
I might add that that there was a lady from Cape Town South Africa who suffered the same fate as me and she would lodge an official complaint through her embassy to the External Affairs Ministry.
