On Monday, **th September **** I placed an order of Realme * on Flipkart. It was for my father. It was delivered on Thursday, *rd October. I unboxed it immediately and everything was perfect. My father was busy with work so he asked me to wait till Sunday to transfer data to new phone. On Saturday evening i decided to charge up the phone and after that I started watching some videos on YouTube. And Then phone's touch started misbehaving. Within an hour the touch was totally unresponsive. I raised a replacement request for the phone and a technician visit was scheduled on *th, October. Everything went smoothly and the technician reported that the phone is defective. I was immediately sent a message by Flipkart that the replacement is arranged and will be delivered by **th October.
I waited till **th, but the status of the product was not updated. I contacted Flipkart and they said that it's a courier company technical issue, the phone will be replaced by **th, October.
On **th the product was not delivered. It was not even shipped till that date I kept my patience as I was expecting this to happen because big billion sale had just ended. I contacted Flipkart and they told me that on **th the product will be delivered. But again it didn't happened.
On **th it was again not delivered. And i was asked to wait till **th, still not even shipped.
On **th evening i called Flipkart told that I don't want a replacement anymore and please process a refund. The executive asked me to wait till **st and said the refund will be processed if the product will not be delivered by then.
On **st the product was still not shipped and in evening i called Flipkart to ask what's the matter. And the reply from the executive was although the replacement is approved by Flipkart but seller is not approving replacement as it is against his policy and we are talking about Realme here. I was asked to wait till **nd to get a call from concerned team.
On **nd morning i got a call from Flipkart and they asked me to wait few more days and they will contact seller and let me know what's the issue. I asked her to please process a refund instead of replacement as i was fed-up of waiting. She said okay and then she cancelled my replacement and didn't approve a refund. She cancelled the order giving a note that the customer doesn't want a replacement. I immediately contacted Flipkart and reported that i didn't cancelled a replacement i just asked for a refund instead of replacement.
Today on **rd i got a call from Flipkart saying that the replacement will be delivered after the technician visit. This time i got a call from senior authority and i have to say that she was totally rude she made me feel like I was responsible for this as i cancelled the replacement. She was the worst customer service representative ever.
All this aside.....
I didn't get the point, why do i have to go through whole process again??
And again if seller doesn't ship my Product then what??
