- Defective Computer monitor not refunded Open

I recently bought a computer monitor (Samsung ** inch (**.* cm) Curved LED Backlit Computer Monitor - LC**F***FHWXXL) worth Rs. **,*** from Amazon India via a third-party seller, "B*me". The computer monitor had no display and I immediately contacted Samsung India who sent a technician. It was determined by Samsung India that the product is defective and it needs a replacement or refund (Samsung Customer Service Order# **********). Amazon mentioned that a replacement is not possible and I have to return it instead. Unfortunately, the amazon seller in question supplied an incorrect serial number for returning the product that was sold to me and hence, Amazon could not pick it up on * separate attempts. Essentially, the amazon seller replaced an "M" with an "N" for the serial number as shown in one of the attached pictures. I have contacted Amazon via phone, chat, and email multiple times for more than * weeks, and have tried explaining the issue so that I can return this item but they have been unable to assist me. I also contacted the seller directly but received no response.
I submitted all the pertinent information to amazon, including the official Samsung customer service order number which concluded that the item is indeed defective and requires refund/replacement. The item was delivered to me on April **, **** and the product was inspected by Samsung India on April **, **** when it was found to be defective. Since raising this issue to amazon and patiently waiting for more than a month for a resolution has led to nowhere, I decided to reach out to voxya for help with getting my refund.
As of now, not only am I stuck with a defective and old **** model instead of a new working product that I paid for, but I am also cheated out of Rs. **,***. As I have now explored all possible options fruitlessly and since escalating this issue to Amazon numerous times have failed, I am contacting you with the hope that you can assist me with getting my money back. I have provided all relevant attachments (including the Samsung Customer Service Order# **********) and am willing to provide more information if required.
