- Defective 6 sitter dining table Open
I purchased a * sitter dining table from Pepperfry which got delivered * weeks back. From the very first moment, the table is shaking badly and has balancing issues. I initiated a return/refund immediately after receiving it. Pepperfry did send a carpenter within * days who came for inspection and said this is a manufacturing defect and this cannot be rectified but to my surprise, he went back and gave the feedback that the issue has been resolved. I did follow up the very next moment and again a skilled technician was sent who was supposed to work on the problem. This time * people came to my house and after much discussion, they said again this is a manufacturing defect and issue is beyond repair. Thankfully they gave genuine feedback and I received a confirmation message that issue could not be resolved. I was hoping that Pepperfry will initiate my refund this time but to my surprise, they said that again a carpenter visit will be taking place and this time the carpenter they will be sending is a specialist. I got annoyed but still controlled my anger. For two days I didn't hear back from them nor did I get any carpenter details. Today when I rang the customer care they are telling me that carpenter visited my house yesterday and the issue is resolved.
I don't understand what kind of business model they have. Are they really into honest business or they are some kinds of fraud?
It has been * weeks now and I honestly don't want their service anymore. Even if they send a carpenter I have understood its a trap and they will not do anything about it.
