- Damaged item delivered Open
I ordered 'Braun BT**** Trimmer for men' from Paytm on ** august **** the item had ** days return policy in case a damaged or wrong item is delivered. I received the item on **th August and upon opening the package i found that the item had scratches and both the item and the included accessories were bent and damaged. The same day **th August i opened a request for returning the item. I was informed that the item will be inspected and picked up from my home. Then suddenly to my surprise on **th august i get an email from paytm saying my request for return was rejected because (quoted from their email)
"The items returned was tampered
All in box inclusions (freebies and accessories) were not returned
The price tags, original packing, invoice and the label tags of the item were missing"
But the thing is no one ever came to my home to pick up or inspect the item then how can they reject the return and blame me for the above things? They just rejected the return without ever seeing the item.
Since then i have wrote them endless messages and have called them several times.
On call they say that the appeal is already open and we will help you soon, thats all they know and say. And for the messages, they did not reply at first, then sent me the same one single message saying that we will help you soon, and since then they have have not replied neither have given me any timeline inspite of my questions and messages that i sent them.
No i dont expect paytm to help at all, its clear they are not interested to help. Now its time i take some action from my side.
