My mother purchased a **th standard course for my sister on **th may **** from Byjus through their counsellors Rahul Pandey & Ms.Pooja. During their pitch for the product the counsellors promised that the course will include the syllabus of both class ** & ** for all the subjects. Also they said that the student will get books & study materials. They also clarified that their is a **days trial period and we can cancel within that period if we don't want to continue with the course. My mother paid a registration amount of Rs.**,*** and the balance amount of Rs.**,*** was converted to monthly emi. After starting the course we the mentors told that this course contains only class **th syllabus and that too of only two subjects. Moreover we didn't receive any books at all. When we raised this issues with the counsellors & mentors they started averting & ignoring our calls & messages. After running we made a request for cancellation and refund of the amount (Rs.**,***) paid during registration well within the promised **days trial period. But now neither they are cancelling the course nor refunding the amount (Rs.**,***). Also, they created a loan account in my mother's name without even mentioning anything about it anywhere, and without her sound consent for the balance course amount. Now, we are continuously receiving calls & messages for the emi deduction. After speaking to everyone we could still we are unable to get a refund & cancellation confirmation. My family is in utter despair and feel helpless due to this scam/fraud which has resulted in the loss of our hard earned money and are seeking help from anywhere we could. We just want to cancel the course and the fraudulent loan in my mother's and get the refund for the paid amount.
