Sub: Complaint against poor/fraudulent service provider company (M/s. UrbanClap).
Deeply regret to mention that we had entrusted a repair and renovation work of my house at Vasundhara to Sunny Verma of Home Olive Interior & Designers Ghaziabad for a total sum of Rs. *.** lacs in February **** as per recommendations of M/s. UrbanClap (a popular online home service provider) as the same is a registering authority of the above said interior company of Sunny Verma. However, after doing a little work on the premises of approx. Rs. *.** lacs, Sunny Verma of Home Olive Interior & Designers Ghaziabad had taken an excess amount of Rs. *.** lacs from us on the pretend to purchase substantial good quality material for the house. Above amount has been paid to him through cheques itself. Sunny Verma wanted to use very lower/inferior quality of material on the premises which we objected and refused to use it. Whereafter Sunny Verma stopped to visit the affected site and absconded since **/**/****. Consequently, we contacted M/s. UrbanClap (the online service provider company) as well as registering authority of the above interior company and requested them to take up the matter with Home Olive Interior & Designers Ghaziabad to settle/clear the accounts with us and return us an excess paid amount of Rs. *,**,***/-. While contacting and keeping the above facts before the said home service provider company i.e. M/s. UrbanClap, it is found that they have made wrong verification of actual owner of the interior company and registered the same in the name of Babloo Singh who is merely a driver and associated with Sunny Verma, the actual owner of the above interior & designer company Home Olive Interior & Designers Ghaziabad with wrong verification. However, we have contacted UrbanClap over phones as well as via email communications (copies attached) to resolve the matter early and arrange to return our excess paid the amount of Rs. *.** lacs either by them itself and/or from their registered company Home Olive Interior & Designers Ghaziabad whose actual owner is Sunny Verma. We have not received any further satisfactory response from UrbanClap who are equally culprit with the above company and seems to be evading proper reply/answer. Therefore, I humbly request the judicial authorities to take up the matter with UrbanClap (the service provider company) who have registered the above company of Sunny Verma with wrong verification and because of them we have undergone with heavy financial loss/burden and issue the necessary instructions to arrange to return my excess paid amount of Rs. *.** lacs paid to their registered contractor Sunny Verma the actual owner of above named Interior & Designer company. I have taken a loan from the bank for said renovation work my house for which I am paying heavy interest to the bank. Also, I would like to inform that my family is residing in a rented house of a monthly rent of Rs. *****/- which is an extra financial burden on me as the whole interior portions of my house is demolished for repair and renovation. I shall appreciate your early action on the above facts.
