complaint against LG Electronics regarding the continuous issues I have encountered with my LG Water Purifier (Model WW***NPB), which I purchased on **-**-****. Despite it being less than a year since the purchase, the product has exhibited numerous malfunctions, causing significant inconvenience and distress.Within a few months of purchase, the water purifier began showing significant delays in tank filling, taking more than * hours to complete.
I raised a complaint, and a service technician visited, diagnosing a faulty motor which was replaced. However, the issue persisted even after the motor replacement.
Recently, I have been informed that the filters also need replacement, an unexpected expense that seems unreasonable given the short time frame.
The Customer Service is forcing the customers to pay for AMC which is *k,not even * year has been completed.
Despite multiple complaints over the past month, the customer service team has failed to provide a satisfactory resolution.
I have been repeatedly advised to purchase an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for approximately *,*** INR, which they claim would ensure better quality filters and service. This suggestion implies that without the AMC, adequate service and quality are not guaranteed.
It is concerning that the replacement of filters is not covered under warranty, necessitating further expenditure due to the premature failure of two filters within just ** months of use.
Given the premature and recurrent failures of the LG Water Purifier, I seek the following remedies:
A comprehensive resolution to the existing issues without any additional cost to me.
A full refund or replacement of the defective product if the issues cannot be permanently resolved.
Compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused by the repeated malfunctions and poor customer service.
An assurance that future maintenance and repair will be conducted promptly and efficiently without coercing me into purchasing additional services.
