- Compensation of misbehaviour and inordinate delay in flight departure Open
My one stop flight Jaipur - Surat- Mumbai on **st April **** (PNR- E*EH*P) which started from Jaipur at *.** am broke down in Surat due to some so-called technical glitch and we had to wait for more than *.* hrs.
If the flight occupancy is not up to the mark then airlines are making the customer wait under the garb of a technical glitch. Airlines are using the reason of technical glitch for all frivolous reasons.
Secondly, we had to wait for *.* hrs and the Spice jet airport executives were not even courteous enough to offer us breakfast which is your responsibility as an airline if the flight gets delayed. In fact, when we had asked for the breakfast they had categorically denied that. Realising their mistake the executives had offered us breakfast *.* hours later when I had already done my breakfast and It was just about time for us to board for the Mumbai flight. I had woke up at *.** am due to my morning flight and was hungry since then.
The airline had not fulfilled its duty and responsibility. Rather they had been callous and had shown irresponsible behaviour by delaying the Surat-Mumbai flight under the garb of technical glitch and added insult to injury be not offering any assurance of breakfast to any of the *-* passengers who were waiting by. I want a compensation of Rs ***** (Rs *** for my breakfast and Rs ***** for the mental harassment) for the mental distress that I had to go through. Also, I would request you to make sure that these kinds of incidents do not recur in future.
