I purchased a two wheeler from Yamaha Authorised dealer. While buying the product I requested them for a choice registration number and paid extra amount for the same. It was not a fancy number (could be difficult to get), but an easily available number (summation of all * digits of vehicle registration number should be * or **). But they didn't get me requested number, so I asked them to refund my bike amount. Initially they were denying to refund the money and tried proving it is RTO's mistake. When I asked to give in written so that I can file a complaint against RTO. They were not ready to give any written statement, so I argued with them to get refund amount or written statement. After number of arguments, finally they agreed to refund my money and asked me wait for a month to arrange the money. I had submitted my bike to them on that same day. After one month when I called dealer to ask at what time should I come to collect my refund amount. They again denied to refund my money. I raised my issue to Yamaha customer care team but they are not taking any serious action on my complaint.
Yamaha and dealer both have kept me waiting for around last * months and not resolving my issue.
It's my humble request to you to help me get my money refunded and compensation for the financial, physical and mental damages incurred by me due to dealer's and yamaha company's delayed action, wrong information, false commitments and careless support.
