I recently tried to rent a bike via Wheelstreet. At the time of choosing the bike, I was shown the charge for the bike is Rs.*** per day, along with a security deposit of Rs.****. I booked it for one day, then proceeded to checkout. Now just before making the final payment(i.e. the bill) I was asked to make a payment for Rs.****, which kind of justified as the Deposit was displayed to be of Rs.****. I made the payment, and then called to confirm the booking and to get the exact pickup location. Now the guy on the other end asked me to bring extra Rs.**** as a part of security deposit. On asking about the Rs.**** which I just payed, I came to know that I was charged actually for ** days instead of * day, as they have a requirement to rent the bike for a minimum of ** days. This was never mentioned in TnC and neither at the time of making the payment my date of booking changed from * day to ** days. Basically bill was not self explanatory which is not how it's supposed to be. Bill is supposed to list down the exact thing(s) that I was about to pay for.
