- Cancelled program big amount deducted while making refund ^Open

My wife had enrolled for a * month Weight Loss Program for **,***/- with Truewright (now Possible). The program is a combination of coaching and health foods. She made the payment on **th December and got the welcome email on **th. She also got an email for * steps to start which clearly mentioned not to start any health food till the first session with coach is done.

The program was agreed to start by *th Jan and even after multiple follow-up, the coach didn't take the first session. Even after involving sales team, CRM and coach, there was no response and confirmation on when the course will start.

We decided to discontinue the program and had a call with Trueweight wherein they agreed for a refund. We started following for that and there was again no confirmation for next **+ days and then we called CRM and got an email telling the refund amount with deduction. We informed Truweight that we'll not accept any deduction as there is no fault of ours but again there was no response.

We followed up for * months and there was literally no response. We followed up on emails, calls and whatsapp and still no response. I then put an Instagram post tagging their investor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and then they immediately responded. They agreed to do the refund but of partial amount only citing company policy. They asked us to do program for atleast * month against the refund charges which we refused.

The deduction was ****/- in the total amount of **,***/-.

We escalated it and the senior from their team discussed internally and agreed to pay ****/- but still deduct the ****/- for the health foods supplied. We offered to return the health foods saying they are of not used and we do not intend to use them either. However they did not agree for the same.

Trueweight has made it a model where they enroll more clients than they can manage and then let them cancel deducting a big amount.

I want Truweight to return ****/- + any legal fees + **,***/- for wasting my time and disturbing my peace. I shall share all the documents which are required for the case here.
