- Cable operator not providing the services Open
We have purchased the yearly plan in around August **** for all non HD channels from my area Hathway Cable operator. The plan needs to end around July ****. As soon the TRAI new regulations come into effect I.e. on Feb **** my cable operator suddenly providing me services and also says that plan is not valid anymore. But as per the TRAI rule, all the old plan which has been purchased earlier still hold good.
Now secondly after suddenly stopping the services, he has not to intimate me the what action point required from the side after new TRAI rules. I was under the Impression that as per the TRAI rules my one year plan is still valid It was the Hathway responsibility to provide me with the service and intimate about the new plan.
Now thirdly after many days has passed I called them many times to find out what wrong is going on with my cable services. They have not provided me with any resolution but after I blast on them they told me that my yearly plan does not hold good and I have to purchase the new plan. After again many follow-ups on **rd February, they have started some non-sense channels for my account.
Again after *-* days the services suddenly stopped and again after follow up over the call, he has told me that he is opening some channels again for my account and after some days he will come to my house and will take the new plan from me and will adjust the remaining amount of the yearly plan. But that day hasn't come now as already ** days have passed for the conversation.
Today suddenly they have stopped the services and after having a call with him many times he then told me that he will come to my house and will take the plan.
First of all, the Hathway is literally think that he can harass any customer because the customer is illiterate and will do nothing to him. They have taken the customer for granted. I am totally depressed with the services and the cable provider has mentally harassed me. The cable operator has not gone as per the TRAI Rule which that have told for existing plan customer and suddenly stopped my service without even notifying me. How can they do that with the customer?
