I booked a bus from Ahmadabad to Udaipur for 4th November.
My boarding point was Ramoll toll plaza. Before I boarded the cab for Ramoll Toll Plaza, I called the operator and I was told that the bus is a bit late. I was waiting at Ramoll Toll Plaza since 6:45 but no bus came. I called the bus operator but he said that bus is late and I need to call the driver . I called bus driver but he refused to come to Ramoll toll plaza. He said bus route has been changed. If bus route was altered , why was I not notified in advance.
I contacted the driver again but he used offensive language and said things like bus operator apko chodu bana Raha hai. He also said Mai kya chutiya Hu ki bus 50 km fira k Aapke liye aaunga. Driver had no courtesy to talk. I contacted bus operator again and he said that he has arranged another bus with the number 3000. I called the new bus driver again and he said bus left 10 mins back. I was standing at that point since 6:45 and did not see any bus named Manish or ending with 3000.I was totally harassed for 1 hour with the luggage, calling this number or that number. Most of the time people didn't pick up in one call. I had to call several times and then only people answered the call as if I was at their mercy. Bus operator asked me to come to Saibaug which costed me another 156rs and I was given another bus at 8:30. The bus was below standards. It worked like a state transport bus. As many people could come in as they wanted.
People were sitting in aisle. The bus operator gave me a ticket where he mentioned the price of the ticket as 800. When I told him that I paid 2000 for the ticket he cancelled the price on the ticket and asked to ignore that.
I was supposed to reach udaipur at 12 AM but I reached at 3:30 . When I complained to red bus . they said that if you were not happy with the bus why did you board the bus, we could have refunded you the money.
I told him that it is festive season and I had to reach home by hook or crook. The operator knew that and hence he took advantage of my situation. I paid 2000 but the quality of the bus was way below standards. I paid 2000 only because i wanted to reach as early as possible without any hassle. I could have waited till 9 pm and took a state bus transport bus.
I need a refund on the ticket. It has been a nightmare.
