Red Bus and Amazon

I booked ** tickets of an AC bus on Amazon on August **, **** to travel to Roorkee from Jaipur on August **, ****. The bus was to be provided by Kalpana Travels Jaipur and booking partner was Red Bus. The scheduled time was *.** PM on August **, **** and the bus was expected to be an AC vehicle. The real complaint is that firstly, the bus arrived at the scheduled stoppage (Narayan Singh Circle, Jaipur) ** Minutes late as the scheduled time was *.** pm and bus arrived at **.** pm. It was a rainy night and we ** people were standing on the road to wait for the bus. Secondly, the provided bus was highly suffocating vehicle from inside and AC was not working. We asked the driver and conductor about AC being non-functional but none of them replied to our question clearly. Since it was overnight journey and the bus was highly suffocating, we decided to get down of the bus and look for some other alternative. At the same time on August **, **** itself, I filed a complaint with Amazon about the whole problem we suffered. Amazon after some initial enquiry with Red Bus got rid of the problem and advised me that I should contact the Red Bus as Amazon has only booked the ticket but the major travel partner is Red Bus. I contacted Red Bus and explained them whole problem. They talked to the bus operator, Kalapana Travels and operator agreed that the bus was delayed for some time and AC was not functional. Later Red Bus gave us another version that AC was functional. Since August **, ****, I am fighting this case for refund of my ticket money (Rs ****.**) with Amazon and Red Bus but none of them are listening to my problem. Last week after so much of pressure and persuasion, Red Bus said that they are ready to reimburse **% of ticket money but I declined the offer and asked for whole ticket amount to be refunded which they refused. We ** people had to suffer for the whole rainy night of August **, **** as no other vehicle was available at ** o’clock in the night. We spent another night at Jaipur and next day in the evening got ** tickets in Shatabdi express from Jaipur to Delhi and from Delhi traveled in another vehicle, wasted ** additional days at Jaipur due to defective service of Amazon, Red Bus and the bus operator. We had to spend another sum of Rs ****.** for buying Shatabdi tickets and almost similar amount for travelling from Delhi to Roorkee. This all happened due to defective bus provided by Kalpana Travels. Red Bus and Amazon are real culprits who are deceiving passengers by conniving with private bus operators and looting them.
