- Bus hire inconvenience Closed
would like to bring to your notice regarding our recent bus hire.
On day * We were supposed to shop at delhi and leave to rishikesh, but the driver Mr. Sonu was not following traffic rules and got caught by the police and his license got seized and because of this he was stopped nearly * times by police and he somehow bribed them which resulted in half day time wasted.
And in the evening we had to wait for a different driver and got other driver.Who was also not following the rules and rash.
As per the deal we were given **+ sofa tempo. but we didn't know it was illegal to put the sofa due to which driver didn't allow us to use it half of the times. saying if you use it you will have to pay fine to police.
as we were going to cool places driver didn't carry extra battery due to which we were asked to push the van. Because of which one of our group member got medical injury( this was in manali at -*° C for an hour please check the gps around * - *).Which resulted in loss of ** mins per day.
the driver never stopped when we asked for a restaurant he instead takes us to a restaurant where he could get commission. we saw it live.these are all managable.
but on the last day when we were supposed to come back to catch our flight this tempo met with an accident. It was all his fault as he most of the times drives while on phone.
at that point of time he asked us to board some rikshaws and visited taj mahal so that he can complete his accident work.
we came back.
it was not ready. he asked us to wait which he confessed during a call with red bus. we started at *:** when the vehicle was ready. he promised that he will take us in * hours. we cross checked with Google it showed *
He was speaking on mobile and driving through the way( you can check his call history if required). we requested him not to. He also stopped at Dhaba to eat when we requested not to.
after entering in to city we saw google maps and suggested few less traffic routes but instead he have choosen heavy ones saying "you guys know nothing".
we finally reached the airport at *:**.When we were supposed to reach at *:** as promised by our driver. because of which we missed our flight and had to waste a whole night at airport. which costed us for flight tickets and food.
and one of our team mate missed her final round of interview at Hyderabad.
we got this to the notice of red bus executive. in call driver clearly accepted that he asked us to wait during accident.
when we first called red bus executive promised that they will go through the gps report in ** and resolve the issue but when we asked after ** days while on call they are then asking the operator to submit the gps report. then he replied saying "gps can be wrong I will personally create a report of their trip" and I don't know how can red bus agree to that and it's been ** days no resolution. today when we called executive says compensation is not possible. we are not begging for any thing but asking to go through gps report of our trip and compensate if we are true. but the executive and manager are unable to do so.
please suggest us a legal way so that we will be compensated for the inconveniences faced.
