- Amazon Fire TV Stick Voice control issue Open
sir, i have purchased one amazon tv fire stick, which was initially configured with amzon.com. after installation the remote of the fire stick was accepting commands like "fast forward", "rewind" and many others without any issue. i was using * month trial period at that time. after using for some days, i reconfigured the tv stick in amazon.in. and after * month paid rs.*** as prime renewal charge for one year. to my surprise usd ** was charged to my credit card again, i took up the matter with amazon.com customer care and mention that i have been charged twice for the same prime account renewal for the same year. they confirmed, and reversed usd ** to my card (due to exchange rate fluctuation, amount returned was less than what i paid originally. my credit card statement is attached for your reference).
to my utter surprise, after reversing the payment of amazon.com, my fire tv stick voice control was not accepting many of the commands, which it was accepting earlier, when the device was configured with amazon.com account. i contacted customer support, and they confirmed that many of the voice commands will not work with amazon.in, which will otherwise work in amazon.com.
can you please help, i want that voice commands should be same for both amazon.in and amazon.com
