This email is to list my grievances I’ve faced with a new connection with Airtel Broadband (************_kk).
I had expressed my interest in getting a Fiber connection (***Mbps)
I was contacted by one of your executives Mr. Muttu: Number ********** / **********.
He told me that I would be getting a fiber connection with dual band Nokia router but with reduced speed of **Mbps irrespective of the plan I wish to choose.
He convinced me that they would soon upgrade their infrastructure to offer the advertised speed.
I am using this connection since few days and it is quite pathetic and below par to my expectations for the below reasons.
*. The promised download speed of **Mbps is not consistent. I was given an old technology copper connection and router.
*. I only get a upload speed of *.* Mbps which is very less as per today’s standards. Each customer executive has their own standards on this speed(Ranging from *Mbps to *Mbps). Proof can be obtained from the discussion I’ve had with the customer executives from my registered mobile number
*. I cannot get onto a Zoom video conference
*. I feel I’m being taken for a ride
*. I had raised a service request # ********* on ** Sep which was closed without my consent but i had an option of reopening it and is open till date i.e. ** Sep
*. The service engineer gives hopeless advice that this is how the connection is meant to be and Zoom calling won’t work on Airtel. He told me that it’s not possible to give a good upload speed on Airtel.
*. The sales executive Mr. Muttu doesn’t pick up my phone anymore despite repeated calls .
*. This connection is out of service since **-**-**** and nothing is working. I have made repeated calls to customer care but no action has been taken
I kindly request you to live up to your advertised offerings or offer me a full refund and take back this connection
