I have booked family vacation ticket in one month advance but offloaded by the airline at the time of boarding check-in saying need noc from embassy which we are not aware as there was no any information available either any website. So far country we are visiting is Singapore and visa is on arrival for us. If they haven't offloaded we don't have any problem to reach destination for holiday. But due to this, we need to cancel flight as it wasn’t possible to get noc during **:** hours Saturday. For the postponed flight to next day even they don’t have seat available. Air India counter at airport issued me a slip saying only **** per ticket will be deducted and told me to contact online portal for the refund. Immediately I called to customer care Hdfc concierge (Cleartrip) and report the same but today I got the refund is only Rs. *****. My total booking amount was *****. A huge amount (*****) is deducted as well. We underwent complete mental harassment and unnecessary trauma despite a foreign holiday. We show them our ID proof of working in Gurugram and school id card of my son as well but they denied and offloaded us from the flight. No notification is available anywhere so far these days people go through online for every need but not anywhere mentioned about this.
I approach airline customer care to consider refund but they said to contact Hdfc concierge (Cleartrip). When I contacted Hdfc concierge (Cleartrip) they said to contact airline and said if the airline didn’t offload problem won’t come and its airline’s issue. In between I got stuck and have a big amount loss. I am a simple salaried working middle-class family and the amount loss due to offloaded by the airline is a disgusting and pathetic experience. Kindly help me for refund with justified deduction.
