We had booked a property from Agoda for a * night stay. When we arrived at the property, we were shocked to see the stark difference between the photographs on Agoda website and reality.
Misleading Photos: The images uploaded on there websites are highly misleading, the rooms are in horrible shape.
Disgusting View: The view from room is scrapped away properties and garbage dump
Zero Cleanliness: The room was stinking when we entered. The room is horribly and disgustingly dirty and unhygienic.
- The bed linens are horribly dirty and stained
- The walls are dirty and are covered with spider webs
- The balcony is dirty and door stopper does not work
- The bathroom is dirty, stinky and door gets jammed
- The wooden flooring is burnt from multiple places
- The cutlery/tea cups were dirty and so was the coffee table
- The quality of food and beverage was also below average
Damaged Property: Every corner of the room is damaged including walls, floor, counter slabs, coffee tables, doors, furniture, and the list goes on
Hotel management: We shared our concerns with the management of this property and they turned a deaf ear and didn't bother to provide any kind of resolution.
We reached kept calling Agoda and explained the issue to * different executives, who promised to call back and give us a resolution. Adding to our disappointment further, the executives did not call or provide any resolution. We were asked by Agoda to share proofs to document our concerns and we did, yet we were either denied refund or ignored by the Agoda customer support executives.
We have incurred not only a financial loss but mental loss as well, as we checked out the immediate morning. We could not stay in that disgusting property. We haven't been able to seek any resolution/refund from the company. Agoda is scamming customers with such misleading hotel photos and details, turns a deaf year when customer tries to reach out.
