My one assist membership id is **********.my phone is redmi note * pro.
whenever i buy a mi mobile for personal use,for family or for friends,i always buy mi protect with it.to better safe than sorry.mi protect is a service given by one assist.
few months back my phone fell off my hand & it got a depression between its volume button,my upper volume key was stuck,minor damage.so i filed a claim.when i checked the details of the time needed for the whole repair procedure,i decided to let it checked by the mi service center in my neighborhood. At the service centre they just pulled it outward and walla it was fixed just like that,it was just stuck.now my problem was solved.so i didn't officially submitted the phone there.After getting home i cancelled my claim at one assist.In their response they demanded the jobsheet of the service centre.i explained to them the whole incident but they still insisted to get a jobsheet from service centre,so i contacted the service centre. Service center guy told me that my phone was not officially submitted & the official procedure for the repair is to change the entire back panel of the phone which is not covered under the warranty,so i have to pay for it.then i'll be able to get a jobsheet of the work done on phone, which i ofcourse declined.i again explained the whole incident to the one assist & they told me to send them a detailed & explained email about it,which i did. After that they closed my claim.the matter was over.they didn't inform me that i'll effect my future claims.Damn cheaters.
now that my phone fell from my hand & its screen is damaged.i filed a new claim.my phone is still in the insured period.they asked me for necessary data and documents which i submitted.After a few days i got a call from one assist saying that their insurance partner refused my claim because i didn't submit the jobsheet of service centre for the previous claim. I was just stunned at their response...stunned.why didn't they told me that they will not take my future claims at the time of cancelling my previous claim, and from where will i get a jobsheet when there wasn't any job done on it.my volume key was just stuck,it was pulled randomly by Service center guy at the reception and it got fixed.no harm done.
I am telling you guys don't take this fraud company insurance,they will use any small matter to not provide the service which they promised while taking your money Fraud company.
the sad part is i still have * other insured product from them,never gonna renew them.Never gonna buy a new one.They broke a consumer's trust.
