- MakeMyTrip cab services sending false messages Closed
I booked a cab from coimbatore to palani for 8th June 8AM. The Drivers details were shared with me 2 hrs prior to the travel time and the driver even confirmed it through SMS and asked our scehdule for that particular day. By 7.55AM i got a message and OTP from Make My trip saying that the driver is on his way.
When i call the driver at 8AM, he says that the MakeMyTrip people hasn't sent him any kind of notifications, hence he can't come. The Driver even says that he is ready to take me on a trip to palani provided i book him separately.
Also another driver emerged at 8.30 saying that he was my cab driver assigned for the day. He even had the MakeMyTrip message. But the 2nd drivers name was not messaged to me by MMT.
Atlast i had to cancel the trip through MMT and had to book a separate call taxi driver at high rates. My whole plan for that particular day got spoiled as well.
I only have the following questions,
1. How did the driver message me on 8th June 5AM on first place. Wouldn't he know by that time whether the trip was arranged or not ?
2. Why didn't make my trip notify the 1st driver properly. Whose fault is it?
3. Who is the incharge from MakeMyTrip side for my trip. He has not done his job properly. Is any action taken action your MakeMyTrip employee OR you are not bothered about customer satisfaction at all ?
If you are really concerned about customer satisfaction, then please tell what action you have taken against the employee who was responsible for this miscommunication.
Please note that the cancellation fee 935Rs something is way below par for the losses that i incurred on that very particular day. I booked special darshan tickets at 12pm for my whole family which costs around 3000Rs, which got completely wasted since i was not able to reach Palani on time. Whole my day got screwed and the purpose of my journey was unfulfilled.
Thank you for making me quit any of the makemytrip services for rest of my life
